Who’s Teddy?

Brian’s Great Wall of China Charity Trek

Keeping me company on the trip will be Teddy. I know my friends will not let me live this down, but a promise is a promise!

Teddy has travelled the world and is very dear to the hearts of all our friends at MS-People. Teddy will be having his picture taken on our travels together, to add to his album. Teddy also writes a regular diary for his friends and after reading a few of the entries it has come to our attention that he is a bit of a ladies bear. Needless to say I am getting worried about what I have let myself in for!

Dear Brian and Dawn,

I am still in New York but got a message last night that I can go to China to trek the Great Wall with Brian next May. I am all excited already about it. Must go and pee as even thinking about it brings me out in a hot flush and I have been known to have an accident when I get excited. PHEW that was a close call.

My walking boots are at home with Grumpy and Panda but they are well broken in and I shouldn’t get any blisters from them now. I have my passport here with me and all my vaccines are up to date, so should be no probs. Will look out for a backpack and bring my hammock with me, O have a small bum bag at home but will see if I can get a backpack also.

We are going to have a blast together and the fundraising will be a lot of fun before we go. I am SO looking forward to it and cannot wait, we will have loads of fun together and I promise to behave myself, no noising up the flight attendants on the plane and no chasing girlies. I don’t want to leave a string of broken hearts there also.

Maybe I will get to land the plane in China! Imagine the announcement “Teddy’s plane arriving at Runway 3 west, all emergency services are on standby and people are advised to take cover!”

I am off to India for Christmas and hope Santa can find me there also. I will write to him and let him know. Last year I asked for Concorde but it never came. Apparently he couldn’t land it in the street outside!

Anyway had better go just now but will be in Yorkshire as soon as my jet-set lifestyle slows down a little. I am really looking forward to the fund raising and then trekking the Great Wall with Brian.
